It is a pleasure to welcome you here to my new website and blog. I have never had a blog before so I am fantastically excited about being able to share my thoughts with you here. I hope you can find something interesting and fun to read as I build up this repository of knowledge and information over the coming posts. It is my plan to post something new every week for the first few months, so that you can get a chance to build a complete picture of what TBHM is all about.
If you have been kind enough to follow me in my previous incarnations as a magician and performer in various forms before landing here, then I would like to graciously thank you heartily for supporting my work for all this time. (It’s difficult to believe that I have been a professional magician for over a decade now!) You have probably been providing me with such encouraging feedback that has now pushed me on to greater heights.
If you are stumbling across TBHM for sometime, then thank you for dropping by. The quickest introduction is that my name is Miles, and you can read a little about me on the Meet Miles page of this blog. This brief biographical page should be enough to satisfy most appetites. However, if you are glutton for punishment then I will be posting information from time to time about my journey and what got me to the point where I thought myself important enough to write a blog about my experiences that I thought that strangers might want to read. The ego knows no bounds!
However, I am determined to make this page far more than self-congratulatory fluff. To that end, because I have been so lucky to have worked in a profession that I adore for such a long time, I often get enquiries as to what I have seen work and, sometimes more importantly, not work, at weddings and parties up and down the country. Therefore, it is part of my mission here to suggest and highlight things that may be crossing your mind as you head towards creating a party of your own. And although I am just a lowly Hertfordshire based wedding magician, I believe I have some insights into a whole range of subjects that might benefit you.
I have already started and have some blog posts ready to go all about wedding tips and party best practice ideas that you might enjoy. But hopefully you will find it interesting if I indulge myself from time to time and throw in a little information about one of my other favourite hobbies. The name TBHM was the stand out choice for the new direction of my business because party guests and brides always were very kind about how well I dress. I take it as a great compliment because dressing well is hobby close to my heart. Tailoring and mens formal style is a passion. Again, brides and guests and even some grooms have asked me for tips on how to best present themselves when they are hosting, or attending, big events. I hope you will find some of the information that I passed onto them as useful as I know they have found it. I will present some posts in this vein as they evolve over the next few months.
Although, don’t wear a bowler hat inside if you want to dress correctly. That is my big faux pas. I excuse myself by convincing myself that everyone in the room knows that it is the tall man in the strange headwear that has been making people laugh and gasp. So I give myself a little leeway about breaking the rules. (Gentlemen wearing hats indoors is a pretty big rule to break, but I believe I have special dispensation. The bowler hat is now part of my name!)

This is the first post that is going up and so hopefully by the time you read this, there should be lots of fun things to read that should catch your attention.
